"The adage 'What we perceive is but a fraction of reality' finds eloquent expression in the artistic masterpiece 'Hidden Layer of The Universe.' In the depths of the subatomic realm, we encounter a labyrinthine tapestry of dimensions, intricately folded within particles. What we once considered cosmic emptiness, the very void of the universe, is revealed to be a cauldron of dark matter, a mysterious substance that eludes our senses. The human psyche, constrained by its perceptual limitations, often equates non-recognition with nonexistence.
However, the frontiers of human understanding beckon us toward a profound awakening. Expanding our conscious awareness to grasp the imperceptible is not merely a pursuit of intellectual curiosity, but the key to our own evolution. In the quest to fathom these concealed dimensions, we unlock the door to new realms of knowledge and advancement, transcending the boundaries of our current existence."
In terms of technique, 'Hidden Layer of The Universe' showcases a fusion of diverse artistic styles. The foundation of the canvas is meticulously crafted through the application of hologram stickers, reminiscent of the iconic wheat-paste and sticker artworks of humanoise.
These stickers are skillfully deconstructed through the application of spray paints, infusing the composition with a pronounced street-inspired flair. Atop this intriguing foundation, a layer of UV printing emerges, harnessed through the cutting-edge technology of Mimaki. This advanced printing process imparts a level of sophistication to the artwork, elevating its visual and tactile appeal. Within this clear layer of print lies a subtle revelation: the enigmatic presence of Hungry Hamster characters, discreetly unveiled to the discerning viewer from specific angles.
